During the operation, a camera located in the center of the lamp transmits the image to a monitor and allows others to observe the operation. The camera attached to the lamp head is controlled by a control panel. The monitor mounted on the lamp arm can be moved and positioned. LED technology does not cause a temperature increase either in the operating area or on the surgeon’s head. The service life of the LED lamps used in these lamp heads, which can provide 160,000 and 120,000 lux of illumination, is 60,000 hours. The main head contains 68 LEDs, and the additional (satellite) head contains 28 LEDs.
